How a TCW tournament runs
- Announcement. Every cup is announced with its name, dates, mode (squad/TPP), prize pool and slot count, days before it starts — no surprise lobbies.
- Registration. Captains register the squad from the tournament card: team name, IGL, WhatsApp number and player IDs. Room and group details follow on WhatsApp.
- Match days. Lobbies run on schedule with the same anti-cheat and punctuality standards as daily scrims. Scores are tracked per match.
- Results. After the final, the cup moves to completed with winner, runner-up, MVP and the full points table — public, permanent, and checkable by anyone.
- Payouts. Winnings go out over UPI within 24 hours of the cup concluding.
Scrims vs tournaments — what should you play?
Daily paid scrims are practice with prizes: same lobby rhythm every day, low entry, instant settling. Tournaments are the stage: bigger pools, multi-day formats, published results that build your team's name. Most serious lineups do both — scrims for form, cups for reputation. Points in both follow the same BGMI points system, so nothing you learn in one is wasted in the other.
